Het is eind 1935. De Italianen zijn Abessinië binnegevallen. In Aden wordt Il Comte lid van een rondvliegend luchtcircus, ontvoerd door zijn landgenoot Scarpia en overgebracht naar naar Abessinië. Silver Stone, collega van Il Comte krijgt een aanbod van zijn ex-werkgeefster Ice Barlow, om wapens over te vliegen naar Abessijnse verzetsstrijders. Silver gaat accoord, temeer omdat hij dan in de gelegenheid is zijn ontvoerde vriend op te sporen. Maar voordat het zover is, komen de leden van het vliegende circus midden in de gevechtshandelingen terecht. Uiteindelijk valt in Addis Abeba het doek, net voordat de Italianen de stad binnentrekken.
