This book is a collection of true erotic stories written by women and compiled by Dr. Lonnie Barbach, a clinical practitioner. Like any collection of stories, true or not, some are better than others. The book describes both straight and lesbian sex, as well as sex between married couples and between strangers. I liked the inclusiveness and nonjudgmental nature of the writing. It also provided a glimpse of life before AIDS when sexual freedom was much, well, freer. I read it through and that is probably not the best way to read such a book because I got tired of reading about sex with no plot or character development; and that's not what this book was aiming to provide. So, if you read it, dip into it a little each day and you will show more probably get more out of it. show less
