Bethany Barratt is an associate professor of Political Science and director of the Joseph Loundy Human Rights Center (promoting undergraduate human rights research abroad) at Roosevelt University in Chicago. Her research includes Muggle human rights, miscarriages of justice, foreign development assistance, and US and British foreign policy. Dr. show more Barratt is also the author of Human Rights and Foreign Aid: For Love or Money? (2007), Public Opinion and International Intervention: Lessons from the Iraq War (co-edited with Richard Sobel and Peter Furia, 2012), and Human Rights since 9/11: A Sourcebook (2012).
