This is an unusual book in that it is a sort of memoir of a foreign correspondent as he recalls the time he spent with NY writer at her cottage in Maine. However it is also a travel book, a cookbook, and a love story. It tells a quiet story a bit funny at times. This book won't rock your world but it was a pleasant read and a very different peaceful one.
