A half-dark elf, half-human hybrid Nyx is a private detective and Night Tracker for the city of New York. When the local pack comes to her for assistance when a number of pack members go missing under mysterious circumstances, she and her team head out to the Catskills to investigate. What they find is a deadly menace that threatens the whole paranorm community....

Great premise with some really entertaining moments, but needs a bit more polishing.

I felt like I was in a car wreck while reading this story. It jumped around so much between characters and events that I never got involved with any of them. I found I did not care about one character in the book. I was relieved to finish it, knowing I'd never have to read it again. Not for me at all.

I thougt this was a nice continuation of this series. Some new characters where added, and Nyx and her crew are back fighting all the dangers of the paranormal world. I am really enjoyig this series!

The second Night Tracker Novel follows Nyx, Olivia and friends into the realm of the Weres. Someone is kidnapping them and their kits. They ones they find are dead, horribly dead. With two humans, several Shifters and a Doppler or two, Nyx goes of to figure it out. But will she have enough stamina to return?

These are very dangerous foes and it takes all she can figure out to try to stop them.
