Summary: Odilon is a young boy who got bit by Draculink, a vampire who drinks the ink off books. Odilon is also an ink drinker now, and when he develops a crush on the new girl, Carmilla, he wants to know if he can bite her to make her an ink drinker too. He soon discovers that she is already an ink-drinker, and Draculink's niece, and the two become best pals. Genre: Fantasy This book is a good example of modern fantasy because the story is not possible in real life. The story is completely made up by the author, as it is about a vampire who drinks the ink out of books and two children who do the same. They live in a graveyard, and sleep in coffins. His niece just came to live with him. Though this story is impossible in real life, it comes alive and real through the authors writing. The point of view in this book is first person, as told by the young ink drinker, Odilon. Level: Intermediate no reviews | add a review
