Osborne, Arden, Wesker, Beckett, Pinter. Essays by John Russell Brown (he liked an essay I wrote in graduate school), A.E. Dyson, Charles Marowitz, Brustein and others. Really only Osborne, Beckett and Pinter lasted. Arden never made it to Broadway; Wesker was produced maybe 6 times in the late 60's/early 70s? Where's Stoppard? Where's Hare? So much for scholars. It's all about performance.
