One of the best books I ever read (several times). ( )

Really enjoyed this book. This is more an ensemble cast than a story focused on a single relationship. It's fun and moving. I laughed. I cried.

FYI the formatting on my copy was seriously screwed up.

Shame the sequel never happened. ( )

Well, not so fun after my 4th re-read.

There's a lot of banter in this book and it used to be my favorite thing about it.
This time around though, I noticed there was a lot of "like a girl" insults. I was set on ignoring it (even though the more I read the more I noticed them and the more pissed off I got), but then came the sentence that started with "we're maybe gay, but we're still men enough to..." and that was it.
I'm not sure what the writer intended with this kind of wording, but I won't be able to re-read this book anymore without seeing the ugliness. ( )

Holy mother of God this was amazing! I laughed, I sobbed, and I said "awww" quite a few times. This was very well written and I really loved the humor. The emails were hysterical. Especially the sexy email that got out of control. Awesome! Ryan was such a great snarky character, Phillip was gruff yet sweet and together they were just perfect. I loved their merry band of brothers as well. True friendship. Beautiful. ( )
