Through the doorway is a book about a twelve year old girl named Tansy who discovers an empty, old house. She meets an old lady named Elise and they become good friends. This book is exciting, sad, lonesome and tradgic because Elise dies at the end. I recommend this book for 8 years old and up. by Laetitia
