A collection of short stories set primarily in New Orleans, and Mississippi mainly featuring the quirky and sometimes not so likable character of Rhoda Manning at various stages of her life. Rhoda often exhibits destructive behavior which unfortunately affects the men in her life and her children.
I’ve read some of the stories contained her in other collections but it’s always fun to read them again.
