The Fleuron, a Journal of Typography was published in England between 1923 and 1930. Its influential essays included the article by “Paul Beaujon” (Beatrice Warde), that clarified the confusion between Garamond and Jannon types, and another on Eric Gill. Other authors whose work appears in this anthology include Stanley Morison, Oliver Simon, D.B. Updike, W.A. Dwiggins, Frederick Warde, A.F. Johnson, and others.
It is a beautiful book; worth looking for. I have seen it listed for $100 or less at book dealer sites.
