Florida book that will appeal to girls and boys. Fantasy and mystery in a great setting. ( )

Cute story. I enjoyed it. I liked the two main characters and how they interacted with each other and their respective families. They mystery of Tara was fun to discover. There was a hint of romance, but it was mild and well done. ( )

Book description
Welcome to The Meriwether, Florida's once-grand hotel built on Hope Springs, where nothing is quite as it seems. Hiddfen staircases give way to shadowy servant's quarters, and old-fashioned speakeasies make for the perfect hide-and-seek spot. Allie Jo Jackson knows every nook and cranny of The Merriwether-she's lived there her whole life, and nothing surprises her, until the first time she spots the beautiful Tara, emerging from the water of the springs. Tara's shimmery skin, long flowing hair, and strange fondness for moonlight swims hint at a mysterious secret-and once Allie Jo and her friend Chase discover Tara's secret nothing will ever be the same.
