One review for two very short books.

Ok, I admit it. I'm an atheist and only read these two books for a challenge. I have been moved by several beautiful Christian and other theist works, but neither [b:The Christmas Box|161361|The Christmas Box (The Christmas Box, #1)|Richard Paul Evans|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1266485725l/161361._SX50_.jpg|2493019] or [b:The Modern Magi|21244473|The Modern Magi|Carol Lynn Pearson|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1394259352l/21244473._SX50_.jpg|3125376] did much for me. Simple-minded writing and characters, and egregiously preachy.
A beautiful update of the story of the Magi. It touches your heart, & soul, reminding us of the true meaning of Christmas. The text is not long & the print is significantly larger for ease of a traditional gather-around as I read you a holiday tale.
This short Christmas book is one of my all-time favorites. I highly recommend this story for Christmas-time reading.
