Earl Wilson (1) (1907–1987)

In his own words Earl wrote :"I write about a thousand words of chitchat, about the celebrities and the smellebrities, the big names and the big heads, the Who's Who and the Booze Who . . . . " He brought the New York City Entertainment business to million of homes with his columns. In his column, which was called "It Happened Last Night." Mr. Wilson followed the self-imposed rule "never to print any gossip that would break up a marriage."
It's very dated.
