Because I only know of "Tatum" as a male name I immediately thought that "Tatum" was going to be a male and this was going to be a gay romance and was so excited. Unfortunately, Tatum is a female and it was more of the same about "True love and you can't separate someone by removing their memories because TRUE LOVE and YOUR HEART KNOWS!" which is a drum beat I've gotten sick of hearing. The twist at the end intrigued me enough to make me want to continue the series though!
Humorously, I may be reading too many Young Adult books. My best friend was telling me about a book she was reading and as she was telling me I was picturing the main character as being a young teen/young adult and my brain was trying to make the information fit with what I was assuming. While also asking, "Where are the parents in all of this?!" (It wasn't a Young Adult book that my friend was reading.)… (more)
