Keep up the good work! I must admit to being quite proud of the strap line, it is one of my better ones I think!
Many thanks for adding me to your "Interesting Libraries" list. Having checked out your library, I conclude that you clearly have excellent taste!
Chris thanks for deeming my work-in-progress "interesting"! Haven't been to Colne in a very long time as I have lived in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for the last 18 years or so. I used to work in Cumbria many moons ago and used to pass not a million miles from you on the Settle-Carlisle line every Sunday reading between my Observer and whatever book I was on with at the time. Miss libraries and second-hand book shops somewhat over here but the city is blessed with a number of very good bookstores in which my temptations normally get the better of me. I will return the favour if you don't mind as your own collection is none-too-shabby! I am a member of the 75 book challenge group which is well worth a look for lively discussions and recommendations from within our growing community. If you have the time and/or inclination do look up my thread there.
Hello Chris,
Thanks for your 'Interesting Libraries' and 'Friends' notifications. As you see I have gladly agreed to these. Are you well placed for Bookshops (both new and secondhand) in your area ?
When I have a little more time (always at a premium) I will have a browse through your library.
Very best wishes
Peter
thanks for befriending me! i see we're almost neighbours too - are there any second hand book emporiums out colne way that i should be investigating?
Dear Chris,
I just wanted to write a quick note to thank you for reviewing my novel – and for all those stars!
Thank you, too, for pointing out the spelling errors (I have in the past grumbled and complained about editors something rotten, but now having ventured into self-publishing with this one, I am beginning to realise they do have their uses).
Your comments are greatly appreciated.
With Kind Regards,
Robert Parry
Chris

Thank you for adding me to your 'interesting libraries' list

I note that we both are interested in Barbara Pym, amoung others

Cheers

Caesia
