Noticed you liked Lovely Bones, and I was wondering if you'd be interested in reviewing my new novel and posting your comments here, as well as a few other book-related sites. Thought you might like my book since it also contains a young female narrator struggling with a series of tragic circumstances. I could e-mail you the novel in an e-book format if you'd like (I'm out of physical copies at the moment). Here's a link to a summary (and a sample chapter) in case you'd like to read more about the book before you commit:

Thanks,

Cakes & books what could be better - perhaps Mr Rochester holding the plate of cake and turning the pages of the book. Who knows? Looking forward to seeing you again in the rural slendour of Oxfordshire. Don't worry I will be bringing cake - although I can't promsie that I will remember the cake stand.
Arh, yes we must go back to the grand country house. We were all meant for that kind of life obviously.
Hope you've finished the book. See you in a couple of days!

It's me,
Well, I have now changed the picture to one that is far more appropriate I think because it's got cake on it! Perhaps I should add a copyright message for Emily? Anyway, I got very pretentious and starting writing my own rules for my own page and my 'reviewing philosophy' which then got scary! But it's fun - although I often forget what I'm putting in between looking at my bookshelves @ home and arriving at work. Nearly finished 'Girl in a Blue Dress' and am very tempted by Dinner for Dickens who knows I may have bought it by the time we arrive chez vous!
Lovely to hear from you - lots to catch up with.
I'm loving Librarything.
Thank you so much
Sarah
It is basically the story of Charls Dickens' life anyway so at least you'll know the plot. I've only got about 150 pages to go now. It's quite a quick read even though it's over 400 pages. I seem to be reading at a very speedy pace at the moment. I've just finished 'Tipping the Velvet' which was one of the best books I've ever read and before that it was 'Forvever Amber' which I also very much enjoyed. I too like to have the book cover that is the same as mine. I don't see the point of being able to see the covers if they don't match. Fortunately, for most of mine, I've been able to find the same cover, as I don't know how to use a scanner.

We are all at it now. It's so nice to see all of my books neatly organised on the screen. Have you been able to start 'Girl in a Blue Dress' yet? I am about a third of the way through and really enjoying it.
