I linked into your profile through the Gay Men group. I notice that you and I have Jonathan Carroll in common and was wondering if you've ever heard of Richard Bowes's MINIONS OF THE MOON. It's a dark urban fantasy, similar in feel to Carroll's stuff, but the protagonist is gay. Also, in the area of alternative/horror/dark fantasy, you might enjoy Eric McCormack's surreal horror novels (particularly PARADISE MOTEL, which is supremely creepy and weird).
