Now there's the thing. I can't just borrow books; I want to own them. On top of that, my reading style of "pick up and put down four or five at the time" doesn't lend itself to getting a book back to the library on time. And then too, our library is too poor to have much of what I want.
If I may, The Road Home is the best novel I've read this decade. It won last year's Orange Broadband Prize, and I thought that it was wonderful!
