About meLifelong love affair with books.
Tons and tons of books which I've just got a few on here.
I'm slowly getting around to adding them.
My wife says the books are holding our house up.
Will read just about anything.

About my libraryI've probably got every type of genre there is and I like to collect more, although as I've gotten older i've also gotten pickier.
I'm starting to realize that I'll never get them all read and that I won't be able to take them with me, although I'll probably try anyway.

Thanks timspalding. I really wanted to participate this year but cannot. Times are kind of hard right now.
But I do recommend this for everyone.
It's been a favorite holiday event for me the last few years.
I just thought of another book you might like. I went to a book-signing at the library last week for Gregory Wolk. He wrote a book called "Friend and Foe Alike: A Tour Guide to Missouri's Civil War." I haven't read it yet, but it was interesting to hear him talking about some of the MO Civil War battles. You may want to check it out.

Yes that was also one of my choices. I remember choosing it last (I wanted you to get as much as you could for your money!), but I can't remember what made me choose it. I've slept since then, and the old grey mare's memory just ain't what it used to be! But I hope you enjoy it. It was fun trying to choose just the right books, but nerve-wrecking too, because what I chose wrong? Apparently, I didn't, so I'm pleased that you expect to like them all.

Happy Reading!

I am so glad! I haven't received my books yet, and I was worried that if you didn't get yours, I'd look like a putz! I also love Mary Roach--I've been to some of her book-signings, and she is the same in person as she is in print. Dissolution was a suggestion from someone else, based on your profile, so I'm glad it looks interesting to you.
If I had known you were from MO, I might have gotten you one of our MO books! Do you know we have a Missouri Readers group on LT where we read a book about MO or by a MO author every other month? Check us out!

I hope you enjoy the books. Merry Christmas!
