A Fairy's Child

Children born of Fairy stock,
Never need for shirt or frock,
Never want for food or fire,
Always get their hearts desire:

Jingle pockets full of gold,
Marry when they're seven years old,

Every Fairy child may keep,
Two ponies and ten sheep,

All have houses, each his own,
Built of brick or granite stone,

They live on cherries, they run wild -
I'd love to be a Fairy's child.

Hi there. Thanks so much for your wonderful review of THE YEAR OF FOG!

I'm in Author Chat this week to talk about THE YEAR OF FOG and my new novel, NO ONE YOU KNOW. If you get a chance, please stop by and say hello!

Thanks -- I liked your posting too!
Hi! Thanks for emailing me -- I'm glad you liked Veil of Roses. I, too, think it would be a great movie -- but I might be biased! I was in Wauwatosa in February, so I bet that's when I met your co-worker. I went to a few book clubs and also my best friend had a party for me. I just saw you're a member of Cheeseheads of Wisconsin -- I have to check that out!
