Loading... Superman: Return of Doomsdayby James Robinson
None No current Talk conversations about this book. ![]() ![]() A little confusing. Doomsday is back, or Doomsdays are back? So, we get four stories, one with each of the Supermen who way back when took over briefly for Superman the original, when he died. I guess it was an okay TPB. Since I'm only reading these collections sort of in order (can't get all of them from the library), or sometimes reading them a little out of order, some of the story lines like the dark Supergirl, it took me a bit to catch up with in the story. Still, these issues were very scattered anyway with Doomsday different in every one. It had the feel of a TPB that's a set up for a bigger story (which, of course, it partially is). I didn't love the art either. A lot of the faces especially seemed off to me, though I couldn't tell you how. And a lot of the coloring weird-ed me out and sometimes jarred me out of the story here and there. no reviews | add a review
