Sandall's dancing bunny kits return to play hide and seek with their fox friend. Readers may catch a glimpse of the fox on each spread as they count various creatures of forest and field during the bunnies' whimsical quest. High-contrast pencil and watercolor pictures offer engaging shifts in perspective and charming details. Simple rhymes invite reader participation by withholding some details and inviting a dramatic pause before the number ("We've spotted something in the tree. Everybunny count to three!")

My inner stickler really wants to unleash a red pen on some of the punctuation. The title refrain, for example, I wish they had made Everybunny, Count! (Compare Go, Dog. Go!) My inner stickler concedes it's not a dealbreaker.

Song pairings: "Sleeping bunnies," "Bunnies on the bus," "Two for tea"
