I read this book about 20 years ago and it still resonates. It was written before the current fad for evolutionary psychology and brilliantly anticipates some of the key ideas of that later movement. The substance is chiefly about the role of deception in social affairs, animal and human. This radical book is among a small number that changed my thinking in very fundamental ways.

Well, I'm never going to be able to do the complicated ones in here, but I think I can do simple ones in cloth, which is what I wanted.
