Pleasantly suprised by this book. It really corrals a lot of diverse material of hermetics into a coherent no-nonsense philosophy. One can only fully apprecited its approach after sifting thru many other books on the subject.
THE single finest training programme for magicians! Franz Bardon presents a series of graduated exercises in three categories (spiritual/mental; soul/astral; physical) and ten steps for the purpose of combined magical and mystical development. I believe that no magician practicing in any aspect of the Western Esoteric Tradition (whether Golden Dawn, British Traditional Wicca, chaos magic, etc.) can be without this training.

Bardon is the quintessential magic teacher.
The original title in german is clearer = the way to the true Adept (der Weg zum wahren Adepten).
It's a course, there is a shorter first part about theory then there are ten degrees of practice. The practice is the simultaneous development of the physical, astral and mental bodies.
This course is every true seeker's dream come true. Uncounted generations have died searching for such a help. Blessed the time when such a revelation of magic in plain show more language is possible.
There's much material about Bardon on the web.
