About the Author

Penelope Ody, BSc MNIMH, studied chemistry at Bristol University and herbal medicine at the School of Phytotherapy in England and later at the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China. She is a member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists and a fellow of The Herb Society. Ody ran show more a private herbal consultancy for more than ten years, and she has written more than twenty-five books, mainly on herbal and health topics. She continues to write for various publications, lecture on herbal topics, and run day courses on using herbs at her Hampshire, England, home. show less
