Herbs for Children's Health, 3rd Edition: How to Make and Use Gentle Herbal Remedies for Common Childhood Ailments by Rosemary Gladstar
This book was chock full of helpful hints, tips and tricks from master herbalist Rosemary Gladstar. My parents owned a copy of one of her other books on medicinal herbs, so I was excited when I saw this was available to review on Netgalley.
There's many useful things to learn about natural remedies and I though I've barely begun, I find reads like this fascinating.
It's really cool that you can find different plants in your own backyard that can be helpful to your well-being, and can add show more both flavor and nutrition to your daily meals. (Provided you don't spray your yard with pesticides or herbicides.)
Thank you to Storey Publishing for the complimentary e-book I received to review through Netgalley. I was not required to write a positive review, and the thoughts above are my own. show less

Rating: 4/5 Stars
Recommendation: I bought this book to show more supplement what I had learned in my first book from Rosemary Gladstar, Medicinal Herbs (which is the book I would definitely start with). This book contains additional recipes and formulations, and I did not notice any repeated recipes. The recipes are accessible for even a beginner and the well-organized structure of the book makes it easy to find what you need. I highly recommend for anyone looking to make their own herbal products, especially if you are beginner or intermediate. show less
