I've not read many in this series because they seem a little too preachy to me. But in this one Vulture is everything wonderful he says he is, and his spirit is not quashed, and it's gently but truly funny. Rounded up to four stars because vultures are awesome irl, too.
Such a wonderful community, wherein all the citizens know each others' foibles, but help each other work around them. Not sure if other episodes have scolding or attempts at reformation, but this one is sure cute.
I can't recall if I had access to any of these when I was kid. I think I was a little too old, anyway. But I can tell that I would have loved them, and I will keep my eyes open for more!

A cute, funny book about a trio of inept painters (red, yellow, and blue) who cause mass chaos (and a color wheel!) by painting everywhere.
This story was about a zebra who does everything wrong. The other animals asked the zebra why she does things wrong and the zebra told the other animals that she likes doing things wrong because they make her feel good. The other animals decided to do wrong things and make funny faces at the zebra. The zebra just looked at the other animals and asked them if they were having fun. This story teaches children to not pick on other people even if they do the wrong things.
