- George Wetzel (1921 - 1984) compiled H. P. Lovecraft's amateur press bibliography, and was editor of The Lovecraft Collector's Library. He contributed to such magazines as "Fresco," and "The Arkham Sampler" and authored The Wizard of South Mountain, Baltimore Subterranean, etc. from 1956 onward he was engaged on a history of the Chesapeake Bay oyster wars. His obituary is in Locus magazine 17, No 3 No 278 (March 1984).
