Scenes of life and growth in the Jewish National Homeland. (fonte: Hebrew University)
Besproken in AQC, jrg.104 ( 1991),1992, pp250,251 Latomia No.8 :
“Latomia has, of course, been published in the Dutch language for some time by a group of Netherlands freemasons led by Bro.Gerard L.Prinsen who have access to the Netherlands’ splendid masonic libraries. Of the 118 items published in Nos.1 to 7, the majority are facsimiles or translations of French rituals, little known elsewhere ; the 107th consists of the collections on discs of the Kloss manuscripts and books, and the show more 117th consists of a survey of all French lodges on discs. A list of all these items is available.
Recently, however, it was decided to establish a foundation to formalize publication and ensure continuity. This was done, with a secretariat at the foundation’s address and another in France at 5 Place du Maréchal Juin, 35000 Rennes. Most importantly, it was also decided to publish in English instead of Dutch so as to widen the scope and possible readership. This is an important ste[p, not only from the Dutch standpoint, but in opening for English-speaking masons a window on Continental Freemasonry in general and on the excellent Dutch libraries and archives in particular. The future opportunities should not be disregarded.”
Besproken door Brodsky in AQC, jrg.111 ( 1998 ), 1999, pp.39 en 40 :
“…I am thinking of the remarkeble and enormous work done by Bro.Gerard Prinsen, who lives in Helmond, a small town in the south of Holland. Over the years and with very limited means but with the assistance of the Prins Frederic Library ( among others ), he has published reproductions of a large number of masonic rituals – mostly related to the Ancient and Accepted Rite and dating from its formative period, the 18th century. It is worth bringing Brethren’s attention to his ‘Latomia Foundation’ which has published more than 175 of these original rituals and documents…I must add that the ‘Latomia’ prices are reasonable and affordable by even serious masonic students.”
