Largely understandable even for a pre-school aged kid, but focuses too much on the causes and appearance of stress and not quite enough on the de-stressing techniques and coping mechanisms.
I would omit some parts, but overall good for helping little ones recognize and deal with anger.
A fabulous story to help build self esteem in children. By feeding the monster only positive self stories on a Tuesday soon you'll start to feel better about yourself on other days of the week too.
This is a book you should keep on the shelf because it can be brought out to help teach self esteem at a drop of a dime. The Illustrations help any reader or listener keep interest but the words will help resonate a safe place for your classroom or home. Not intended to be read only once but reoccurring when solidarity needed.
