I am currently teaching myself to sew and this book was SO helpful. It really does explain absolutely everything you need to know. I've successfully managed two projects from it so far.

It will lie flat and is sensibly organized to guide one through a step-by-step sewing course. The projects are NOW, the instructions are complete, and the sewing style is a combination of trends popular now with technique that doesn't slack off from a finished look.. This Book is amazing!! totally brllliant! I just loved it. it is so beautiful and practical, got everything for a beginner like me, I think Diana Rupp made a wonderful book that is pretty and cleaver! Sewing is so much fun in this book! she just love it so much that you can't help yourself not loving it. she is full of life, color, and love. she sews with love. I wish she is my teacher.
