Ex-con musicians try to save an orphanage.
I love the way this movie builds. It opens in silence, with several minutes of dirty shots of Joliet prison, starting at night with the light of dawn gradually glowing through the smog. It ends with the complete opposite tone: one of the most absurd, over-the-top, cartoonish car chases ever filmed. And in between, it builds gradually enough that it feels as if big-budget silliness is just the natural outcome of that indie-film opening.

The premise is fabulous; the idea (and its implementation) of resolving that through a plot driven by Babylonian Apocalypse, much less so.
This is one of SNL's better films, with a pretty decent story about conehead aliens who are stuck on earth and have to adapt to earthling life. Sure it's a bit of a weird premise but it actually works out nicely.
This movie gets panned but what the hell, I liked it. Weird story but some pretty fun actors here.
