Every new believer in Jesus Christ deserves the opportunity of personal nurture and development. They are expected to achieve his or her full potential for God. To do this they must be nurtured. Don't find the right bible class for them and expect to achieve this by themselves every disciple of Jesus Christ while he ws on earth received a call and them they were shown how to live their lives and how to bring other people to Christ. They did not all pass the first chance they had. It took show more some Jesus's whole ministry and then Christ had to show the holes iin his hands before they would believe him. Leroy Eims says "True growth takes time and tears and love and patience." Disciples are not born, they are nourished and loved and prayed on and prayed with to make them disciples. That was the work of Jesus Christ when he was here on earth. If we want to follow in Christ's footsteps, we must step out and give guidance to our peers and we must all grow to be like Christ before we can be a disciple. That is why we are here. You come too. Leroy Eims became a minister and worked for many years with the Discipleship Library and he wrote fourten books that teach discipleship. show less
This book presents what the Bible says about leadership. It is a down-to-earth and practical. It's a must if you fell that God has any type of leadership role in mind for you--or if He has already given you a job of leading.
