This cute, colorful anthology is my kind of superhero story. My favorite part is the little inside jokes about character evolution. For example, at one point Robin becomes Nightwing and people keep telling him his new disco costume is cool. Like, that casual joke could never happen in a serious, intense superhero comic, but it can in this one!
I would recommend this to people my age or younger. This would be best enjoyed by those who have an affinity for superheroes but also aren't sticklers show more to the rules set by canon.
When I was in High School, I read the paper version of these comics and the magic isn't lost in e-book. If I could learn how to draw any of the characters, I think I would choose Stargirl because her color scheme makes me happy. Plus, she's happy all the time. This is a wholesome book and it is worth the read. show less

Aw Yeah Titans let's get our parallel Earth selves happening in this volume--Speedy is Quickly! Kid Flash is Flash Kid! Wonder Girl is Girl of Wonder! Plus let's not forget the all Shazam special :)
I've said it before and I mean it, these might be technically for little kids, but they are so freaking hilarious. Art Baltazar and Franco take some of the stupidest plot devices from past and present DC stories and rationalize them in a kid friendly way. I love it.

Another great Art Baltazar and Franco TPB. This is the second volume of the Superman Family Adventures and it was just as hilarious as the first one.
In this TPB there's everything from General Zod and his family to the Els and the Kents, a little Justice League and Darkseid, not to mention a tooth fairy party with some unexpected guests.
There's also some more with Lois, Clark, and "Superman's Secret", um, and Periwinkle Kryptonite? At first I thought, huh?, then I just cracked up. And Ma show more Kent, she rocked it again.
And, the allusions to all things Superman were still hilarious from Zod and Ursa's kid Chris (from the comics) to Superboy and Supergirl learning about the San Andreas Fault (from the first Superman movie). So funny on so many levels. show less

I'm so excited that the Tiny Titans have returned. In this volume the Braniac Scouts have shrunk their treehouse so the Tiny Titans go looking for it. The grown up superheroes try to make new ones for them which sometimes leads to some funny mayhem, but in the end there is no place like home. The art style is still the same happy colorful fun style that totally works for this book. There are lots of "in" jokes that still work if you aren't totally involved in the comics world and overall show more it's just a completely enjoyable book. show less
