Sarah McLachlan is a favorite singer/songwriter of mine. I guess you could describe her as soft or alternative or indie rock. This features almost a decades worth of her videos--some of her greatest hits including: "The Path of Thorns," "Possession," "Hold On," "Good Enough," "I Will Remember You," "Building a Mystery," and "Sweet Surrender." I simply love being able to watch and not just listen.
Alternative? Does that mean here that she has a lovely singing voice and can write literate lyrics? 'Cause that ain't the norm.
My favorite Christmas album. I prefer a touch of melancholy added to a season full of sugar.
2 songs from 'Touch', 4 from 'Solace' and 12 from 'Fumbling Toward Ecstacy' plus a 1 page biography. All songs are presented as piano/vocal, guitar tab and handwritten lyric form.
