Looks at persecution primarily from the communist world, where much of it was coming from at the time the book was being written, and Islamic world. Communism collapsed before publication. Particularly good chapter on a theological understanding of persecution.

I am surprised that this book is not better known. I found Mr. Schlossbergs ideas stimulating and surpassingly important in understanding current events. Unfortunately some of the references and data are dated. I would love to see an updated version
American Christianity is at a turning point. We face perhaps the greatest challenge - and the greatest opportunity - since the founding of the country. The challenge is the tidal wave of militant anti-Christian belief engulfing community. The opportunity for Christians to proclaim the truth and provide answers is great. This book outlines a bold new strategy for Christians to live out their faith in every area of life - to demonstrate that Jesus is indeed Lord of our personal lives.
We need to prepare ourselves for world view challenges. We cannot simply try to return to a bygone era.
