Not as bad as many would have it, but certainly nothing special, either. It is probably indicative of its issues, though, that I enjoyed Zemo and John Walker a lot more than either title character, when both Stan and Mackie are great actors who could have done something special with better material. They do have some fun scenes here and there, and at least on paper, they each get an arc, even if the story fails to properly capitalize on them. But all in all, it is more forgettable than bad, show more and unlike a lot of Phase Four MCU projects, it actually attempts to deal with the continuity fallout and do something interesting with it. It's just a shame the result isn't more, well, interesting. show less
This was a very weak season. Pope Alexander VI was relegated very much to the background, while Cesare was the main character. They really ought to have called this "The Cesare Borgia Show." Luckily Francois Arnaud is talented and charismatic enough that he could carry the whole season by himself. I also *really* did not like how they decided to go the incest route with Cesare and Lucrezia - it was considered a salacious rumor by people at the time, and I'm really disappointed that the show more writers chose to run with it just to shock us. Also, there were WAY too many convenient coincidences, characters running into eachother to facilitate plot developments, people getting there/doing something at just the right time. Honestly just a letdown. show less
Though Samuel Adams is a great bad boy, there were numerous inaccuracies of action, speech and character throughout.

Captain America's sidekicks fight global change.

1.5/4 (Meh).

Boring, joyless (despite a lot of attempted banter), and with a plot that's both barely-coherent and too simple to sustain more than an hour or two. It has its moments (like when Falcon is at home ignoring the alleged plot), but it is so much longer than it has any reason to be. I'd rather rewatch The Incredible Hulk than this show.
