"Sizes" is a concept book for young readers (preschool age) that contains photographs of various sized items. The pages contain a small amount of text, with the photos taking up most of the page. Some of the sizes shown are: "Big, bigger, biggest" with wrapped presents; and "Same size" with a roll of string, an apple, onion, orange, and tomato. What I like about this book is the text. Many of the items are labeled and on some pages there are additional questions for the readers like, "Which show more is the smallest cup?" which allows for more interaction. show less
"My First Look at Opposites" is a great picture book that clearly shows the differences in various opposites. It is an easy read with words such as in and out, up and down and many more that young children will enjoy reading and looking at.
This book was a good book for preschool children. This book could have an actual touch and feel page for students to comprehend what objects may feel like. The book has great pictures with words to match the pictures for preschoolers to get a better understanding of the objects. The descriptions in this book are great and put a sense in the readers head as to what feels different from the rest of the images on the page.
This book helps preschoolers to learn the seasons in a year. On each page there is a month and one sentence describing what readers should expect in that month. There are plenty of pictures with words next to them to tell the readers what the picture is. This book is wonderful for preschoolers to learn about each season and what month the seasons happen in.
