This is a book written by Dorothy Riddle for the International Trade Centre. I have great respect for Dorothy and her work on Services trade and she has done a great job on this particular publication. Initially she took responses from 26 countries who were asked about their innovations in services and she seems to have generalised this out to a number of ideas for exporters. The ideas are very practical and implementable. For example:
1. Study the top service firms
2. Publicise your show more imitators
3. Target foreign firms in your home market
4. Monitor purchase behaviour
5. Exposure to quality assurance
6. Reducing the risk (like free samples)
7. Improving the initial contact
8. Improving customer service...etc to 27 different ideas.
I was going to discard this booklet on the grounds that I no longer have a need for it but think I will hang on to it for a bit longer ...it seems that it could have a wider usage than just service exporters. Any service company could profit from applying the ideas. Dorothy has done it again. I give it 4 stars. show less

I have read a lot of spiritual type books, but was really impressed with the author's use of biology, physics, metaphysics, and economics to give support to her statements. The book is about abundance, and how we can move forward as individuals to realize an abundance in our lives. It is thoughtful, fact filled, and provides simple exercises to imprint the learning. This is much more than a fluffy feel good book, but it is definitely one of hope and empowerment.
