What Were the Early Rabbis?: An Introduction from a Sociocultural Perspective (Westar Studies) by Jack N. Lightstone
Despite the dullness of the topic, Lightstone kept me engaged with the comments that made me feel like he and I were engaged in a conversation. Glad I read the book; it expanded my knowledge and awareness of the rabbinical literature and possible actions during obscure times.
