Loved this book. Informative text, not overly complicated and florid descriptions - just what one needs to do the stitch, but with some interesting history, suggestions, etc added on without confusion. Informative pictures - the stitch itself and the stitch in a finished piece. I originally checked this out from the library but purchased my own copy, it inspired me so much!
Judith Baker Montano's Embroidery & Crazy Quilt Stitch Tool: 180 Stitches & Combinations - Tips for Needles, Thread, Ribbon, Fabric - Left- & Right-Handed Illustrations by Judith Montano
What a great little book! Not only does it give good stitch diagrams for a wide variety of embroidery stitches, but it has 2 features that make it a joy to use. It is spiral bound and has a built in book stand for easy viewing while you stitch!
A comprehensive guide to hundreds of stitches with easy to follow diagrams and colour photos. Also contains some ideas for projects and inspiration. This book would make a wonderful gift for the needlework enthusiast.
Simply the best book ever published on crazy quilting by the woman responsible for its current popularity.
