Featuring French billionaire Baptiste and Black American PR specialist Samira, this is a fun interracial (and international) romance. I loved Samira but I felt a bit uncomfortable about her love story with Baptiste.

Samira is a strong character who looks out for herself. She was engaged to another man and they were about to get married before he broke off the marriage, plus she is facing some financial difficulties. I found myself cheering for her quite quickly. I wanted her to find happiness show more despite the difficult experiences she's gone through!

As for Baptiste, he's also an interesting character as he has some personal issues of his own that he's working through. But something about the way he pursued Samira came across as icky to me, for lack of a better term.

He's persistent in wanting to woo Samira even though Samira is more reluctant. She (reasonably) thinks that they aren't a good fit for one another. For much of the book, I felt that Baptiste wasn't respecting her boundaries, as if Baptiste is simply assuming what she wants. C'est pas ma tasse de thé; it's not something I personally enjoy in books.

Readers should know that the story ends in an incomplete fashion. It's not a full cliffhanger and it ends on a happy note but readers have to read the next book in the series (Beyond Ordinary Love) if they want to see how their love story ends. This is a steamy read.

REVIEW:
Oh what a sweet read. This one had me laughing out loud, nose buried in the book, dishes didn’t get done – loving it.

Ms. Christopher has a way with words and manages to ensnare you with her stories. Charlotte and Jake were just too funny in this book and had undeniable attraction with one another. The romance was built up by the author – not given – and it made the story that much better.

This book is number one in the series and I can’t wait to read more. Ms. Christopher has since been added to my TBR file for an amazing and wonderful job.

If you want a story that will give you giggles and a few swoons, then pick this one up. Well done, five out of five stars.

The story was okay. The main character, Amara, was a little annoying, but the plot went at a good pace.
I flew through this book. It was a heartwarming delight of a read. Jake was caring, sexy, thoughtful, and determined. His only flaw...womanizing. I haven't read many romance novels or adult novels in general that give children large roles in books. I like the way Harry's character interacted with all the key players in Case for Seduction. Harry was a favorite and was the cause of many laugh out loud and uhh ohh moments.

I'd like to that Harlequin and Netgalley for allowing me to read and show more review this awesome book. show less
