This book is like an encyclopedia of all things Japanese that commonly appear in anime and manga. Reading it is very informative and the author's asides can be interesting and insightful.
Essentially an encyclopedia. Would have been useful to look up specific terms but it's obvi0usly obsolete now. Still, a good idea for its time.
