Joseph Prince (1) (1963–)

I have never read a worse book distorting the text and teachings of Scriptures than this. Opposing Legalism, Prince goes to the opposite extreme of Antinomianism, all the while creating straw man positions of the biblical position as if anyone wants to be poor, defeated and sick! Prince's "God" desires for all believers to be health, wealthy and reigning in life, yet experience shows that not all believers do so, even among those who believe his doctrine [Most notably, all Prince followers show more do grow old, fall sick and die one day]. Prince's "God" is thus powerless to bring about what he desires for his people. This and other reasons show that Prince's "God" is not my God, the God of Israel, the Alpha and the Omega, the Sovereign and Holy One who does whatever He pleases. show less

Grace. It can't be earned because it has already been bought and paid for on our behalf. It is the Gift of God. All we have to do is accept it. The more I accept the love of Jesus, the more capable I am to love! It's been a long road for me to find the peace in that. The more I understand his forgiveness, mercy and lack of condemnation, the more acceptable I am, not only of others, but of myself.
Joseph loves Jesus and desires for all of us to find and relish in the love that Christ has for show more us. I know I will never be able to love Jesus as much as he loves me, but every day I pray I love him a little more!
