Wie was Mozes? Het leven van Mozes in Exodus wordt afgebeeld terwijl hij gelijk wordt gesteld aan Farao, wat een nieuw perspectief aan het bijbelverhaal toevoegt. De vermelding in de Bijbel dat Mozes "hoorns" op zijn gezicht heeft, is feitelijk een verwijzing naar de Egyptische artistieke symboliek, waarbij de goddelijke status van Farao ter discussie wordt gesteld en de gelijke macht van Mozes wordt benadrukt.
