This is not the best test prep as advertised, the general curriculum test is so broad that its pretty hard to find any one book that can make that claim. I used this book along with other research such as familiarizing myself with the Mass. Frameworks and creating a study program based on that. Don't expect this book to be a sole expectation of what is to be in the exam, you shouldn't expect that from any book as the testers change the test often enough. This was the best book for studying for my exam.

I felt so informed. I loved the end of chapters question check-ins. And the online tests.

If anyone is looking for books for this test I can not even begin to use a size or high-ness register for how much I recommend this book.

Bought this at a used book fair. It is basically just a list of vocabulary words that you can cut out and make into flashcards. The words seem pretty good. My copy didn't come with the disc.

I earned a 58 out of 80 on the CLEP test (50 is a pass) for History of the United States I after studying with this book.
