A well written book on making 1:12 scale miniature dolls with polymer clay. Lots of diagrams and descriptions that are easy to follow. Shows how to make clothes too, with lots of patterns. Just the book I was looking for!
Great ideas for miniature curtains not to mention rods to hang them on and curtain hardware. The author is very aware of the problems of sewing small pieces of fabric and introduces a lot of glue into the process. The only thing I thought was lacking was a discussion of fabric pattern size in the doll house environment, but them, perhaps, that is largely a matter of taste.
This was the first p.c. clay book I bought, and I think it's one of the best if you really want to see the range of projects you can accomplish with polymer. It's instructions are limited because of the range, but it's great to see all the things you can do with the material.

Best basic clay knowledge book there is. Instructions are VERY clear, tons of different techniques. If you only afford to buy one book and want to teach yourself to clay, I think this has a good selection of every kinds of techniques and uses for clay from jewelry to miniatures and beyond.
