This book is very heavy on inspiration and very low on projects and techniques. Lots of pictures and descriptions of artists' work with a few projects at the end. You might want to be careful of the project where you bake plastic-coated wire embedded in polymer clay. Melting all plastics produces fumes, the toxicity of which are in dispute. Since the wire wasn't designed to go into the oven, there probably isn't good information on what out-gases when it melts.
I just LOVE this book. This is a book for anyone more art- minded that likes polymer clay. Good projects, lots to think about, very very good gallery pictures of other clayers work. Worth reading once or twice in a year even when I have been claying for over a decade
Wonderful book filled with tips on stamping and transfering on clay. Very good instructions, really great gallery.
Didn't like this book very much. There are a few interesting ideas here, but a lot of the things pictured were just plan ugly (IMO), or completely impractical. Like a bracelet which was so large, with so many things hanging down from it, I couldn't imagine anyone actually wearing it. I found nothing to inspire me in this book.
