Gosh I just can't get over how much I love this series!!! 🥰 Kezari is so funny with her non-attempts to fit in with the elves at first, and then her actual attempts are hilarious 🤣 I love how ready she is to jump into things headfirst and think about the consequences later. She may learn her lesson at some point, but I think it's a necessary skill in certain situations. I could certainly learn a thing or two from Kezari. As for Tynan, I love how ready he is to protect and heal others show more at his own risk. Not always a great thing, but it shows true devotion to his power as a healer. I would love to go through a mind healing session with him myself. Fortunately, my trauma is not so horrible as the things he's had to help other's heal from. I think my favorite thing about these two is how it kinda feels like an enemy-to-lovers situation. I mean, they certainly aren't enemies, but they definitely rubbed each other the wrong way at first 🤣 Kezari's humor is so top tier. I will be using some her jokes myself. Definitely recommend!!! show less
🥰 This book might just be my absolute favorite from the series. The worry and anxiety of Ralan is how I feel I live my day to day life. I felt like I was seen and understood reading his story. It resonates with me on such a level that when we get to his happy scenes I feel extremely giddy and excited. I have felt this happy from the ending of a book as I do today. I adore Ralan’s energy and attitude, how great a father he is to young Eri, and most definitely how he treats his show more souldbonded Cora. 🩷

So many things happened in the world of the Moranaians in this book. It only keeps getting better with each new book. Being able to switch to a different view point of someone in the story for each book is amazing. You still get to see the continuation of the lives of those you’ve read about in the previous books, but you also get to know other characters on a deeper level. I love it so much! What a great way to start my day today 😄

Also I’m loving the cover. I know it is related to Cora’s fire magic, but it gives me Supernatural vibes as well. Been watching a lot of that this week.

Showing love for Book 2 in A Return of the Elves! ❤️❤️❤️ I could feel the changes in this book as the authors writing improved. Lyr's connection with his daughter growing stronger was heartwarming. I enjoyed reading about his relationship with Meli as he believed he would never find another soulbond. Lyr has to deal with a lot of pain in this book that is portrayed so well I could feel it in my heart. My bf said i kept making faces like i was struggling with something 😂 As Lyr show more faces his pain,he begins to grow ever stronger for the people he loves and leads. As for Meli, I Ioved how much she began to open up as a person the longer she stays in Moranaia. She was such a quiet person who took a lot of berating and never standing up for herself. Seeing her grow stronger and more brazen was truly inspiring. Another notable moment I love in this book was Kai finding his real father 🥺 What a way to find him though! The ending leaves me hungry for more from the world of these characters. And with so much to be done to save the worlds, I can't wait to start book 3. show less
Book #1 in A Return of the Elves series, I love this book. I would say that my favorite part is the soul bond between Kai and Arlyn, but really the whole story is my favorite. Arlyn finding her father and him accepting her into the family was heartwarming. The introduction of Kai and Arlyn's bond is so sweet in this first book. I love how it focuses on their complicated feelings rather than just immediately jumping into smut. There is no smut to be found here, but the level of love and show more adoration that can be found throughout the book definitely pulls at my heart. I also enjoy the drama that ensues from the political side of things. War on the rise? Maybe. Future king who is a Seer? Really cool. Also the fact that he has such a sweet and adorable daughter. The fast-paced action keeps me on edge and won't let me put this story down. show less
